Take list of what is running at boot when everything in Windows 7 is running smoothly, then when things slow down, compare what was running before, to what is running when things are slow. You should do do Ctrl+Alt+Esc and bring up the Windows Task Manager. Is this an issue with my Mac, or a problem with Bootcamp maybe? Anyone have a similar problem?īelieve me, this problem is quite irritating, heh. Transfers on startup are blazing fast, but when the issue arise, it slows down to a crawl. I access my network by LAN, so I am not using wireless. Also, when that happens, if let's say I open Photoshop and try to edit an image, any action that I will perform, let it be resizing the image or saving it, will take a second or two to execute the function as well. After a couple of minutes though, I would say between 15 and 30 minutes, I noticed that if I browse to any of my network location, it won't show the content right away and will only list the directory after a second or two. For example, right after booting up and login in, I can access my network fine, browse local and network file without any issue and open and work in any application just as good. Installation went well and everything seems fine at first, but I have notice that a short time after I boot the machine in Windows, performance tends to slow down. I have a Mac Mini, mid-2010 model (newest and current model on the Apple Store), and I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 圆4 via Bootcamp.
